Krisso is my Family Name.
It started with Crafts by Krisso…which then morphed into Photography by Krisso.
Photography by Krisso covers my photography and art.
My first name is Kristin. I was born in Kansas in 1977, winter. I’m an Army Brat, and moved around a great deal when I was younger. I found solace in Nature. Whether it was the West German Countryside, the Wisconsin Farmlands, the back woods of Fort Lee, or riding my bike around the neighborhoods. I found solace, adventure, and imagination in the Nature around me.
When I moved to Minnesota in late 2003, Nature again was a place of freedom, solace, and imagination. I would take my camera out and take pictures. Then in 2004, I got a position at a Qualex Photolab, which offered associates free development, and the rest was history.
My photography is primarily nature, though there are travels, candid, and genealogical photography. I post my photography to Flickr and Instagram. I also make cards with my photography, and the occasional prints. I sell as well as gift my work.
